By using SpeedReadTest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.

2. Educational Purpose

The test, scores, benchmarks and tools are for education and self-assessment only. They are not a medical, vision, neurological or educational diagnosis. A short online test can vary with the passage, the topic and how you feel on the day. If you are concerned about your vision or reading, please see a qualified professional.

3. Using the Site

You may use the site for personal, educational and classroom purposes. Please do not disrupt it, overload it, try to get around its limits, or use automated means to submit scores.

4. Leaderboard

You are responsible for the nickname you submit. Do not use anything offensive or misleading, or anything that identifies another person. Scores are based on results from your own browser, so we cannot guarantee that any entry is accurate. We may filter, edit or remove any nickname or entry, and we may reset a board.

5. Your Content

Any text or file you use in our tools stays yours and is processed in your browser. You are responsible for having the right to use it.

6. Intellectual Property

The test passages, questions, articles, tools, designs and the SpeedReadTest name belong to SpeedReadTest and are written or made for this site. Printable worksheets may be copied for personal and classroom use. Please do not republish or sell our content without permission. Short quotations with a link to the source are welcome. Other names and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners, and mentioning them does not imply any affiliation. Book titles and word counts are shown for reference only, and we are not connected with those authors or publishers. Open-source software used on the site is listed in our third-party notices.

7. Third-Party Links

Our site links to other websites, such as research sources. We are not responsible for the content of third-party sites.

8. No Warranty

The site is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available".
